Gears of War: Judgment

The Gears of War franchise is one of the most loved and wildly popular third-person shooter series. The franchise is owned by Epic games and published by Microsoft making it an Xbox 360 and PC-only platform series. The Third person shooter game is playable in single-player and multiplayer mode.

Gears of War: Judgment marks the newest release for the series since 2011’s Gears of War 3. Development for the new game was announced on June 4 2012. The chronological placing of Gears of War: Judgment is placed before first original 3 games of the series. The Gears of War: Judgment story begins with Baird’s flashbacks of a hearing at a military tribunal. The hearing is about Baird’s use of dangerous weaponry that was not authorized. Each level of Gears of War: Judgment begins to follow recollections from the different members of the team.

Although quite early, critical reception for Gears of War: Judgment has been quite evenly split, Gears of War: Judgment holds a noticeably lower MetaCritic score than all of the previous Gears Of War Games.

Those looking for a Mac compatible version of Gears Of War should consider XCOM: Enemy Uknown. XCOM is a strategy and turn-based tactics game. There are many sites that allow you to download free games to try out if you are new to the genre.

The upcoming Gears of War: Judgment will be including two extra multiplayer modes. The “Down but Not Out” feature will be missing during the free for all game modes, leading to the truant of executions.

Characters in the game consist of Lt. Damon Baird, who is the leader of the Kilo Squad and a Gear soldier who was a mastermind in both technical and mechanical fields. Pvt. Augustus Cole was a Thrashball player turned Gear soldier, with a hard-hitting hand. Sofie Handrik: is a past journalist who has a firm belief in ethics as long as victory is attained. Garron Paduk: He is a Gear Soldier and member of the Kilo Squad. During the Pendulum Wars, Garron was a Major who lost his homeland to the Locust and joined COG for revenge. Col. Ezra Loomis is commander in the COG who has a stern attitude and little regard towards civilians. Karn is one of the main antagonists and a Kantus monk.
